Inspired by the weaving of thatch, Ebanks asks: What holds us together? The pieces respond with figurative abstractions of family, community and relationship. They suggest that we are woven through shared experiences—familial bonds, our environment and the connections that give life meaning. Above all, a love for humanity holds us together.
